We love our special volunteers! Without them, many of our events just couldn’t go ahead.
Our volunteers help-out for a wide range of tasks including front of house duties where they might be checking tickets at the door or ushering our wonderful audience to their seats, back of house including helping with catering or even setting up and packing down before and after events, in addition to a wide range of other jobs including box office, letter box drops, getting posters out to the community, general office help and much more.
Our super hero volunteer team consist of passionate, friendly and caring people of all ages. They may know or be related to TMO musicians such as parents, friends, children and partners, or be lovers of music who have a genuine interest in not only helping people, but also of getting to know some of what happens behind the scenes at each TMO event. TMO are a registered charity and as such, we rely on the help and support of those who love what we do. Our volunteers are key to our success.
Our volunteers are friendly, helpful, patient and kind people who not only love music, but really enjoy helping others. There are a wide range of jobs to be done at each event, so we need a wide range of people to help out.
What Are The Benefits of Being a TMO Volunteer?
Our volunteers get to see what happens behind the scenes at each TMO event where they are present. They get to meet loads of interesting people from both the orchestra and the audience, as well as gain a rare insight to how the entire performance comes together. Volunteers have a real sense of achievement in being an important and integral component of delivering each fabulous live concert. Additionally, volunteers get to watch the live performance (free of charge of course) for the event they are working at in addition to a few extra value adds including:

** TMO t-shirt that you can wear at each performance you are working on.
** A free ticket to a TMO produced performance of your choice*.
