seven times and is the first trumpeter to be named Australian Brass Champion of
Champions. He was a top five finalist in the 2024 World Trumpet Society Solo Competition
and the first official winner of the International Australian Trumpet Competition.

precision to writing as he does to performance. His works, focused on orchestral music
with an emphasis on brass and chamber ensembles, showcase a unique voice that blends
technical mastery with a deep love for storytelling through music.
Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of both performance and composition, Christopher
Moran is forging an exciting path in contemporary classical music.
