The Metropolitan Orchestra’s final concert in 2024’s Chamber Music Festival reaches a staggering pinnacle with two of the greatest chamber works of all time showcasing two of TMO’s incredible principal musicians. Vivaldi’s epic four seasons will stun the audience through the virtuosity of performance and outstanding music featuring TMO concert master Victoria Jacono-Gilmovich on solo violin. Mozart’s clarinet quintet is consistently voted one of the all-time favourite pieces of classical music. In today’s performance, the audience will get to understand why this work is so loved when TMO Principal Clarinet Andrew Doyle steps up as clarinet soloist in front of this stunning quintet of first-class musicians. What an outstanding way to not only spend a Sunday afternoon but to complete what has been an extraordinary weekend of beautiful and varied chamber music.
