Having highly skilled administrators and business people who understand the unique challenges faced by the arts (and particularly orchestras) is vital to the continued sustainability of our industry. The Metropolitan Orchestra is committed to helping build skills in young people who are looking for a career in the arts outside of performance delivery. As a result, TMO has created a business internship program delivering vital arts administration and business skills to those about to embark on a career in the arts industry. TMO also has a flexible traineeship program to assist the skills of those seeking a close performance support relationship in our industry including backstage and front-of-house operations management.
