Join Tubby the Tuba as he searches for a special melody to play with the orchestra. In this playful, interactive cushion concert, children will follow the engaging story of Tubby while also discovering the different instruments of the orchestra through a collection of fun music created by Australian Composer Sean O’Boyle AM. Bring your cushions and rugs to either a morning or early afternoon session where you will be able to listen wonderful music that highlights different instruments including Liquorice Noodles for Clarinet, Flipperdiperus for Flute, Galloping Goanna for Xylophone, Duelling Fiddles for Violin, Lonesome Prairie for Trumpet and Tuba Toothpaste for Tuba.
Presented by acclaimed children’s entertainer Nat Jobe and conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams, this is a chance to give your children an engaging first-class musical experience with the added bonus of getting up close to the instruments of a symphony orchestra.
