Composer Development Program Alumni

The Metropolitan Orchestra was proud to launch its Inaugural Composer Development Program in 2016 with the support of ARTS NSW.   This program gives NSW composers not yet established, the rare opportunity to collaborate with professional musicians and conductor in three unique stages spanning four and a half months, culminating in a recorded orchestral workshop. This is a unique opportunity for composers to extensively workshop and develop their composition and overall craft within a professional context.

Committed to the support and development of Australian artists, once a composer completes TMO’s Composer Development Program, they become TMO CDP Alumni.  TMO will continue to work with these composers to assist in their development of their works and careers.
